Ellie and Leonie Mickley, from Aller today took part in filming with the Met Office film crew.

The Mickley girls, who live at Aller, took part in filming a video about the Met Office’s Weather Observations Website (WOW). They were helping to demonstrate that kids can collect weather data from their own gardens and send it to the Met Office this Summer. 

Ellie and Leonie, who often take part in local plays and performances, really enjoyed the filming and voiceover recording, saying it was great fun.

The film will be part of a campaign to get families involved in submitting their observations via wow.metoffice.gov.uk and will be shared on the Met Office YouTube Channel.
