After nearly 19 years of running the village shop and post office, we have finally decided to retire!  There has probably been much uncertainty in the village and many rumours, but at last, plans have been finalised.

After nearly 19 years of running the village shop and post office, we have finally decided to retire!  There has probably been much uncertainty in the village and many rumours, but at last, plans have been finalised.

We officially finish on January 5th 2017.  The shop will be shut on 06/01/17, re-opening on 07/01/17 in the capable hands of Lisa Bartlett and Rachel Vincent. 

We have all enjoyed the past years (even Arkright!) and our family has grown in that time providing us with many able assistants – even Samuel at four years old likes to “help”!

We shall still be living in the house so you haven’t got rid of us yet! Sally will remain as Postmistress so that the post office can remain running as it is.

Many thanks to those of you that have supported us; we hope that you will continue to support Lisa and Rachel.

Kentisbeare is very lucky to still have a shop, so please do help to keep it that way.
