VoiceWorx extends thanks to everyone who came to their Christmas Concert or carolling events, having raised £1200 for Breast Cancer Now.

Kentisbeare’s local community choir, which has been running for 15 years in the village, chose to raise money for Breast Cancer Now at their Christmas events and for the coming year. One of their Musical Directors, Maria, had her second breast cancer diagnosis in spring 2024. She was supported by Breast Cancer Now and is now well and working with the choir again. The choir put on their ‘best concert ever!’ in Kentisbeare Village Hall in December and performed to a completely full house. People come to sing with the choir from all over the area, but it would be great to have more singers from the parish itself.
